Flavonoids found in the peels of various citrus fruits are natural plant pigments and contribute to the colours, smell and taste of fruits and vegetables.

Our CLAV BIOFLAVONOIDS Extract include Diosmin, Hesperidin and Naringin, which are the most common Flavonoids.

CITRUS BIOFLAVONOIDS - natural substances for the body

Citrus bioflavonoids have in common that they are natural antioxidants. They support the effect of vitamin C and can additionally protect the vitamin from oxidation. This protective effect makes CITRUS-BIOFLAVONOIDS natural vitamin enhancers.

Bioflavonoids are also thought to be capable of forming an effective protective shield against free radicals. Free radicals are reactive metabolites believed to be involved in the onset of numerous conditions.

By binding them, flavonoids are said to be able to slow down the proliferation of free radicals. For this effect, citrus bioflavonoids can be taken to supplement your diet.
