Meet our Prenatal Vitamins

We've got you

When should you start taking prenatal vitamins?

Why doesn’t the Modern Fertility Prenatal Multivitamin include calcium?

Does the Modern Fertility Prenatal Multivitamin upset your stomach?

Are there any allergens in the Modern Fertility Prenatal Vitamin?

The Modern Fertility Prenatal Multivitamin contains 12 essential nutrients recommended by OB-GYNs to help you meet your needs ? whether you’re pregnant, trying for kids, or planning ahead. Our prenatal multivitamin is vegetarian, gluten-free, and has zero preservatives. Each pouch provides a 30-day supply of 60 capsules.

With you all the way

We obsessed over nutritional guidelines from leading OB-GYNs and decades of research to build a prenatal we'd actually want to take ? and for longer.

Each capsule has key nutrients we don't get enough of (like choline) and digestible and vegetarian ingredients (like algal DHA).

We chose more digestible forms of each nutrient (and infused a hint of citrus!) to keep you feeling good while prepping your body.

OB-GYNs recommend prenatal vitamins at least a month before trying to conceive to build up nutrients (like folate) that support fetal development during the first trimester* ? and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says there’s value in taking them throughout your reproductive years.** We designed the Prenatal Multi so you can take it long before pregnancy all the way through after.

While getting enough calcium is essential to your overall health, most people get almost all the calcium they need from what they eat (common sources include dairy products, leafy greens, and fortified foods).* Plus, including calcium in a multivitamin can block iron absorption* ? and iron is one of the top nutrient deficiencies for people with ovaries (especially during pregnancy). (That’s why we recommend avoiding products high in calcium for an hour after taking the Prenatal Multi.)

Instead of calcium, the Prenatal Multi contains vitamin D. Vitamin D helps the calcium you’re already getting from food work more effectively in your body ? and it doesn’t interfere with iron absorption.*

The Prenatal Multi is formulated to support your body without over-supplementing, which decreases the likelihood of uncomfortable side effects like nausea or stomachaches.* The form we chose for iron, ferrous bisglycinate, also helps with reducing stomach issues.*

To keep your Prenatal Multi vegetarian, we chose to include algal DHA. Our supplier uses soy (lecithin) and milk (sodium caseinate) proteins to extract DHA from algae. If you’re allergic to soy or milk proteins, talk to your healthcare practitioner before starting.
