We source the beans from Central and South American mountainsides and Kenyan farmlands where the quality is excellent and roast longer for a perfect flavor profile. - BOLD, SYRUPY, BITTERSWEET WITH TOFFEE NOTES: Our beloved Dark Roast coffee blend offers a bold journey into an enigmatic realm of robust coffee flavors, accentuated by smoky notes. They are also the most efficient in terms of electricity use. - 100% ARABICA WHOLE BEANS: We source the best coffee beans from our farming partners and avoid using the much lower quality Robusta coffee beans. We only use some Robusta in our Supreme Crema espresso since a touch of it produces an amazing crema!

Our founder, Mike Kapos, started it all in 1953 with the belief that coffee connects people ? creating meaningful moments and strengthening communities. His son, Bill, and grandson, Mike, are now carrying on his belief and legacy in historic Pawtucket, RI, where the family still believes in the timeless art of handcrafting for friends, family, and neighbors.
